This weekend's main task was spreading muck on the unused beds in preparation for spring planting. We are not sure if this is what we should do or not, but loads of other people seem to be doing just that, so there must be something in it. One result of this was that I now know where the previous owner had his potatoes this year, so I can avoid planting them in the same place next year. The weather this morning was cold and miserable, but by this afternoon it had cheered up a bit and following the digging we were able to enjoy a cup of tea sitting outside our shed! Next week, I guess we will continue with the weeding, digging and spreading. Oh - and we planted another row of onions.
The view below is today's work finished.
